Several breakbeats i made using sliced samples of cyberia's breaks. Mostly cut&paste in audacity, so i'm not sure of the bpm, but i normally ignore that anyways. . . Processed with overdrive, chebyshev, and various other distortionate effects, and compressed. I was creating a kick drum sound using a model d synthesizer to see if i could and i realized the upper register had some very interesting percussive blips. I recorded starting with c or c# below middle c and upward for usable sounds and thought they might be interesting and useful for someone else as well. This is a mix of sounds that i made for a pre-battle preparation of knights. It was used in a theater show for a scene of knights preparing for the battle in a war camp on the eve before a battle.

A simple square wave, done with chirp generator in audacity. Starts at 200hz then slides until 30hz. Bass booster and phaser added. Then enveloppe manualy modified (enveloppe tool) + fade out processing for the end of the tail. Then normalized.

Created using tracktion waveform-10. I used 3 instances of the builtin synth subtractive, 1 was for the body of the snare the other 2 were the noise to try and replicate the wires of the snare, finally i used zynaddsubfx to create the transient. There was some eq applied to boost key frequencies in around 200hz and mastermix plugin to compress the audio.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

One night while recording vocals it was really windy outside, and the wind slammed one of the doors in my house shot. The sound got caught by the mic and i liked it enough to use it as a snare sample for that same song i was recording vocals too. Hope you'll find a creative use for it!.

This recording is for people who hate the highlighted high frequencies. An old sabian aax small recorded with a røde m5 mic. I the created two copies of the original recording:1. On the first file i applied low pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. 2. On the second file i applied high pass at 2 khz and hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. Then i lowered -2 db all the spectrum except for the band from 3. 5 khz to 9. 1 khz and i applied hard compression at -24 db without makeup gain. I merged the two files.
